ProTrac Suspension Kit

Hi everyone my name is Jason Snyder I run shortcourseworld.com. I normally race an SC10. I bought a slash to review for a program I've created called rccarsforkids.org and I decided to put on the pro-trac system..what a difference.....I didn't want to go big budget so I could do what an average 15yr old kid might be able to afford so I when with the strc threaded shock bodies and the strc LCG low center of gravity conversion that uses the rustler chassis and of course proline bowtie M3 compund tires on split six wheels and all I can say is WOW! I may seriously retire not only my upgraded brushless RTR SC10 but also my Brand new Factory team SC10with tekin rs and 8.5 turn motor.....because my slash with nothing more than a velineon system, LCG kit and a pro-trac suspension is super fast and way more consistent.

I really love how the pro-trac kit give the slash lots of steering but its really consistent....with my sc10 the rear end has a tendency to start to really come around even with good tires and the battery back and a softer rear end.....the slash on the other hand has plenty of turn in but feels rock solid......

If you don't want to buy a new generation race short course truck.....add the pro-trac kit with the STRC "LCG" kit to start......then throw in either some aluminum shock bodies for another $30.00 total or if you have the dough get the power stroke shocks and you'll have a bonafied race machine thats more durable than a stock slash....and thats saying something.

This kit totally transformed my Slash. It's a totally new truck with this kit. The adjustability is insane and the performance is crazy compared to the stock suspension. Pair this with some nice progressive springs or dual rate shocks and you'll be beyond golden.

This kit is the best decision I have made for my truck since purchasing it!

You get the kit and your like it will improve the performace a little but then you try it is easy to put together and it mores so smooth now if you have a slash and think it suck get this kit at full throttle turns on dirt it only picks up the rear tire at thats it on asphat it still rolles but its a lot harder to rol it if you race a slash get the kit or you will be left in the dust

I installed the Protrac kit on my Slash using the how-to videos and immediatly took it out in the alley.
WOW THE IMPROVEMENT!!!
The turns went from an overwhelming lean with the inside front tire off the road to a smooth, noticibly faster *hug* through the turns.
Jumps nd landings are more easily controlled and accelleration is also improved.
My wife still has a stock Slash and there is no competition with the Protrac kit!
This is aftermarket the way it was meant to be! Noticible!

Threw this on my Slash Instantly transformed the entire look of the truck. Love it, Love all the setup options.

I have installed these on my Slash and took it to my local track, and my lap time was decreased by a whole 2 seconds. The plastic is very strong and similar to RPM plastic. But RPM doesnt help with lap times. All the performance that I needed I got. And all in such a small package. Pro-line Pro-trac kit proves to you that it is the best set-up for your slash 2wd or stampede out on the market.

This kit will transform your Slash from pretender to contender in about an hour!
Seriously, it makes the truck way more precise and predictable, even more forgiving when you get loose and hit a jump sideways.
Its also very durable, going along with the overall toughness theme that the Slash is known for.
If you've got a Slash just sitting there on the shelf, or you're tired of the Blitzes and SC-10's turning under you in the corners, this kit will put you back into contention!

This kit has made my car a beast, it rides so much more smoother and it handles the jumps bumps so much better. I would reccomend this kit to anyone who has a slash out there because it is awesome.
